We’re proud to offer an incredible range of superbly brewed beer, plus an ever-changing guest list of craft beers. Local heroes Harveys and Dark Star are always to be found, plus regular appearances from Thornbridge and many others.
We’re open all day for lunch and dinner – you’ll find a great quality seasonal menu cooked from the best ingredients available from Lewes and the surrounding area. All the meat served is free-range and reared to exemplary welfare standards by local farmers, (including game from South Brockwell Farm, Brookland White chicken, Holmansbridge Farm sausage, Plantations Pigs pork and South Down’s lamb), and vegetarians are extremely well-cared for.
We have two beer gardens either side of the pub and a large upstairs room which is also available for hire, and if you’re bringing the family you’ll find a box of toys and books to keep the little ones occupied (plus dog chews for the furry ones!).
